Cannabis Infused Chili Oil

Yield: 1 cup
Time to Make: 3-4 hours

Ingredients

  • Your herb of choice

  • 1 cup high quality olive oil

  • 2-3 tbsps toasted sesame seeds

  • 2-3 tbsps chili flakes

  • 2 tbsps tamari or soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice powder

  • 2-3 star anise

  • 1 whole garlic

  • 1 shallot

  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Grind up your herb and add to the LEVO II machine.

  2. Decarb/activate for 30 minutes at 220 degrees F.

  3. While you are waiting for the flower to decarb, heat up a medium size pot.

  4. Dice your garlic and shallots and add to the hot pan. You want to get the pieces super crispy but not burnt!

  5. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the soy sauce.

  6. Simmer in the olive oil for 10-15 minutes.

  7. Add the soy sauce and turn off the stove.

  8. When your flower is finished decarbing, add the chili oil mixture into your LEVO II.

  9. Infuse for 2-3 hours at 150 degrees F.

  10. When the infusion is complete, dispense into a glass jar and scoop out the ingredients from the LEVO II machine and into your glass jar.

  11. Store in the fridge for up to one month!
