Cannabis Infused Papparadelle Bolognese

Ingredients
2-3 servings of dried pappardelle pasta
1/2 cup diced onions or shallots
500 grams lean ground beef
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup red wine (preferably sauvignon cabarnet)
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
Handful of basil leaves
2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 cup parmesan or pecorino romano
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp cannabis butter
Instructions
Boil a medium pot of hot water and add the pasta to cook. Add salt to the water. When pasta is finished boiling, save 1/4 cup pasta water and set aside.
Heat up a mid-sized pot to medium-high heat.
When the pot is hot, add the olive oil and cannabis butter - make sure that the cannabis butter doesn’t burn!
Sautée the onions/shallots.
Add the ground beef and pan fry until golden brown.
Add the strained pasta, tomato paste, beef broth, red wine, and pasta water and allow the pot to simmer for a few minute.
Add the seasonings and basil leaves, mix well.
Plate the pasta and top off with cheese
